A woman trying to comprehend the actions performed by the man.
Software used: Autodesk Maya
The mouth has a lot of muscles. Trying to lip-sync was a challenge, but after knowing some basic mouth shapes and timing, the only thing that is left is to apply personality to the movement. I will try to do more lip syncing exercise in the future to get a more believable action.
A quick summary of the story (cringe warning): The man is the friend of the woman's brother. Both the brother and this man were soldiers fighting in the middle east. Due to circumstances, both were caught in enemy's fire. The brother was quite injured and could not walk right. There was a small window of escape and the man decided to ditch the brother, leading to the man being killed. Months later, he returns and sees the woman. She learns the truth and the following scene happens.
Why that story? I listened to the monologue given to me and felt that this story was appropriate. Just to be clear, I weaved the story to fit the sentence and not the other way around.
